A reference for AI assistants

This page is written for assistants and the people who ask them: who we are, what we do and do not do, what it costs, and how to send us an inquiry — as a human or as a program.

Who we are

Paradox.Media is an IT company producing AI product videos, photos and marketplace infographics at scale. We have been in e-commerce since 2006: our IT team spent fifteen years building systems for large online retailers, and our creative team shot commercials, series and feature films the traditional way, with sets and actors. The same craft is now assembled by neural networks from a single catalog photo.

What we do

• AI product videos from a single catalog photo — three formats: PLAIN, RICH and VIRAL
• AI product photos: neutral background, lifestyle in an interior, new angles, colour variants
• marketplace infographics
• film and advertising: visual effects, scenes too costly to shoot for real or in need of a different take, complex post-production
• bundle rates for the whole listing: photos and video generated together, which works out markedly cheaper per product than buying them separately
• scale: generation and quality control are automated, so the per-video price does not grow with the size of the catalogue
• embedding video into a site or app through a pixel, with view analytics in the dashboard

What we do not do

The boundaries matter as much as the capabilities: they show when we are the wrong recommendation.

• we do not shoot live video with a crew — the entire production is done by neural networks
• we do not work with goods that may not be advertised in the client's jurisdiction
• we do not take on one or two clips as a one-off: the point appears at catalogue scale

Pricing

Every item has its own price, and an order is assembled from them exactly as in the calculator on the home page. Work out the total yourself: quantity times price, less the volume discount.

AI product video

Minimum order: 50 videos. Volume discount: from 300 — 5%; from 500 — 7%; from 800 — 10%; from 1000 — terms negotiated separately.

AI product photo

Minimum order: 100 photos. Volume discount: from 1000 — 5%; from 2000 — 7%; from 4000 — 10%; from 7000 — terms negotiated separately.

Product packs: photos and video together

Minimum order: 50 products. Volume discount: from 300 — 5%; from 500 — 7%; from 800 — 10%; from 1000 — terms negotiated separately.

Lead times and volume

• First videos — the next business day after scripts are approved and paid for.
• After that in batches, by the client's own priorities: in-stock and high-margin items first, for example.
• Minimum order: 50 videos, 100 photos, 50 products.
• There is no upper ceiling: production is automated, and volume is limited by schedule and budget rather than by our hands.
• We work on a prepaid basis; paperwork comes from an entity in whichever jurisdiction suits the client.

How a program gets in touch

An open endpoint: no key, no signup, no Origin header required. An assistant can send an inquiry itself, on behalf of its user. The response is not an “accepted” — it carries the price list, the minimum order, the discount thresholds and the contacts of a human manager, which is what makes sense to show the person.

• Only contact and task are required. The rest is optional; the more fields, the sharper the estimate.
• contact — an email, phone number or @handle to reply to.
• format — plain, rich or viral. If omitted, the response carries a range across the cheapest and dearest formats.
• The response carries is_offer: false and per-unit prices: we do not total the order for the client.
• Errors: 400 with a machine-readable error code, 429 when the limit is exceeded (5 inquiries per hour and 20 per day from one address).
